On the season for guaranteed picks we sit at a record of 6-3, after going 3-0 last week we look to move forward with our winning ways this week. The format of last week will remain the same with the guaranteed picks being placed in an instant message conversation between Andrew and me. The following picks will have not be based on the spread, but will be who we think will win outright. There will be three games with a brief description on how and why they will win, and the rest will just have who is going to win. Now that we have the rules laid out let’s get started.

Pittsburg over CINCINNATI: Cincinnati is an absolute mess. Carson Palmer will miss his second straight week with an elbow injury. The Bengals haven’t figured out how to integrate Ocho Cinco into their offense, and their defense was never that good. Pittsburg without Willie Parker should be able to roll over Cincy with no problem. If Parker plays this should be a good game for him to become accustomed to game speed before Pittsburgh’s tough game against the Super Bowl champion New York Giants next week.

Cleveland over WASHINGTON: This is going to be a close game. Cleveland is coming off of a huge win against the New York Giants, while the Redskins are trying to bounce back from a stunning upset to the St. Louis Rams. Though the Redskins are at home this shouldn’t stop the Browns offense, which seemed to be clicking on all cylinders on Monday. The Browns should win, but don’t be surprised if this turns out to be one of the more entertaining games this week.

HOUSTON over Detroit: Houston has underachieved this season should be hovering around 3-3 instead of sitting 1-4 like they are now. The Lions are a mess, but played well against the Vikings last week. However, Houston has more talent Detroit and should be able to handle the Lions. Maybe not by the 6 points Vegas gives to Detroit, but they should win.

Other Games of the Week:
CHICAGO over Minnesota
Dallas over ST. LOUIS
NEW YORK GIANTS over San Francisco
San Diego over BUFFALO
New York Jets over OAKLAND
TAMPA BAY over Seattle
