The Read International For 12/10/08: UN Accuses Rwanada and Congo of Aiding Dangerous Rebels; Devastation Still Apparent in Zimbabwe

From the BBC:
1. The Top headline:
Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo have both been directly helping rebels fighting in eastern DR Congo, according to a draft report for the UN.
2. Craziness still going down in Greece today.
Several thousand people have marched through the Greek capital Athens to protest at the government's economic policies, as part of a general strike.

While turnout appeared lower than expected, the strike hit transport and the public sector and the city saw new unrest over the shooting of a teenager.

Here's Monday's story if you forgot what happened. And just imagine if this country did what Greece did. The whole world would change, I guarantee you.

3.The sadness of Zimbabwe fight with cholera still continues. Mugabe is a monster of the highest order. The death troll, as reported from Al Jazeera, is at 800.

From the CBC:
I guess they like to torture as well across the border.

And from Al Jazeera, Ghana will have a run-off election after the top two candidates failed to reach over 50%

Stay international. The Read International.
