She's Perfect For The Job

In this day and age of corporate media, who could really complain about her getting this gig.
Former first daughter Jenna Bush Hager will contribute monthly segments to the Today Show as the morning show’s latest correspondent.

The 27-year-old teacher in Baltimore, Maryland will highlight stories like education (she always wanted to be a teacher and a writer, and has already authored two books.)

“It wasn’t something I’d always dreamed to do,” the daughter of former President George W. Bush said. “But I think one of the most important things in life is to be open-minded and to be open-minded for change.”
So everyone, be open minded about Jenna being apart of the NBC team with a job.

I sure know all those recent journalism graduates like me and my friends would sure be happy and open-minded about this decision. Especially with the not so extensive experience that Laura has in journalism.

Then again, we should be open-minded like her and NBC for this decision, right?

I wonder if she will do segments on Countdown with Keith or on Rachel's show in the possible future outside of "Today"? You never know.
