Music Thread #1 For 11/23/09: AMA Show Review

For a third rate awards show that gets overshadowed by the VMA's and the Grammy's (considering its date isn't always guaranteed at the same time of the year sometimes), the AMA's usually does have people talking about it the next day.

That was the case with the people performing at the event, and the way their performances turned out:

J-Lo had a great entrance and all (Michael Buffer, hello!), but a mediocre song and the fall at the 3:01 moment really became the last memory for most.


Adam Lambert's performance was more than over the top:


Lady Gaga's ness


Jay-Z and Alicia Keys performance, with the camera views through the audience being so funny by the way.


And Janet Jackson


Gosh at all these accolades and pressure they are putting on Taylor Swift now. The fact that the voters choose her over the posthumous Michael Jackson for "Artist Of The Year" was embarrassing indeed.
