Music Thread #1 For 7/26/10 (Final Edition): Lupe Fiasco Producer Puts The Artist On Blast On Twitter

In one of the most out of nowhere tirades of all time, a former producer for Lupe Fiasco basically acted like he was almost an enemy of Lupe more than a friend.

The Hood Nerd captured the full tirade from Prolyfic, which you can see right on this Twitter page.

The main highlight (or lowlight if you want to look the other side of the 180 here) of this massive slam is his criticism of Lupe's still planned third album "Lasers", which replaced what was originally suppose to be Lupe's last album "L.u.p.e END."

Even if Prolyfic makes a few valid points on why the Chicago class artist is not a prominent superstar in music like his talents should have made him, the fact that he mentioned news or developments on the upcoming album just was not a good look at all.

Keeping the criticism of the next album in house or directly at the artist, whether it's rap, pop, country or anything else, is the proper way to "motivate" your friend (if they are still even friends after all of this). By putting all the business out in public like Prolyfic just did, it was just a flat out idiotic move.

The woes continues for M.I.A, as her returned to the NYC area lead to an abysmal performance at Governor's Island:

And oh dear, she went to ranting on Twitter again:

And the Kings of Leon were forced off stage over the weekend because of pigeons trying to use the bathroom on them in St. Louis .

Updated Edition:
Great, DMX is heading back to jail:
DMX is to be sent back to jail after a prior infraction was recently discovered by Los Angeles authorities.

The rapper was just released from jail earlier this month.

DMX plans to turn himself into authorities in a Los Angeles courtroom tomorrow, according to TMZ.

The new arrest is a legacy violation from a 2002 reckless driving conviction. He received probation at the time, but his assorted legal issues warranted a violation.

DMX is expected to serve 90 days in jail.

I don't know who needs to grow up more.......him or Foxy Brown .

And a timely tweet after one dumb comment :
No wonder why Irv Gotti is so irrelevant now.
