Via the euphoric (and gregariously titled) user kissmygrits at the Kos, here is what CBS reported today : Another embarrassing complaint of abuse of power from the disgraced Governor of Alaska. CBS News has obtained a copy of the complaint that Frank Gwartney, a retired lineman in Anchorage filed last Friday, with Alaska’s Attorney General, Talis Colber in Juneau. “Palin ran on the platform of ethics, transparency and anti-corruption. I’m tired of the hypocrisy that exists in Government and people need to know the truth,” said Gwartney. The complaint against Governor Palin, alleges Misuse of Official Position: “Gov. Palin attempted to and in fact did use her official position for personal gain by securing unwarranted benefits for her daughters...” All the allegations contained in the complaint are related to state reimbursed travel. And if this was the other way around and Biden abused his powers, you know damn well the media would be all over Obama. Instead, besides the usual suspects of Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow, no one has even talked about it in the news media. The REPUBLICAN VICE PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE has ABUSED HER POWERS and only a whiff of it is even mentioned? The REPUBLICAN VICE PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE? What the hell has the media in this country come to? It gets to a point where you just can't label it as "stupid." Instead, sadly, an agenda has been made from the get go to leave and ignore some things on purpose. An agenda of "newsreporting" that doesn't care about the whole truth, but instead, it's own "truth" for ratings. Shameful.
