The Break For 7/29/10: Shirley Sherrod Will Sue Andrew Breitbart

Image
It's official, Shirley Sherrod will sue Andrew Breitbart for the events of last week, as reported by the Associated Press. And with Breitbart virtually showing no remorse for his actions still, this is great to see Sherrod pursuing.

Giving The Insensitive Nutcase Another "W"

No remorse , and not a care in the world: And this: And he still freely claims that Sherrod is "the racist: But sadly, the insane thing he says about the black farmers sentiment brings me back to the worst bill of 2010 : Well, the "fradulent" settlement never went down, because it was stripped out of the final supplemental bill that passed last night in the House. So Breitbart's motivation to not only make the NAACP, but the added bonus of making sure a long overdue settlement for black farmers was derailed heighten his desire to ruin lives again like the heartless psycho that he is. That is what painfully happens when you give a platform to the mentally bizarre and unstable.

Don't Fall Into The "Calling Them Racist" Trap

This will explain my full point in this thread: The legend that is KingEyeOn continued the momentum of the " Fox is racist " viewpoint that Howard Dean replaced into the talking heads conscious on Sunday with yet another classic thread from him earlier today. The evidence is clear as delight that at the very least, the Murdoch Clown Network are total cowards and piously ignorant to being able to have any smart opinion on race issues in America and anywhere else. Most of them will probably never understand the full events and emotional ramifications of minority history in this country, or at least those not apart of Goldline Dreck's peculiar lineup of black Republicans and their bimonthly appearances on that show . There are only two black correspondents that even appear on the Conservative Insane Network (Lord knows why Columbia Professor Marc Lamont Hill still goes on that network as much as he does), one black reporter named Wendell Gibson, and no black...

The Straight Jacket Award For 7/22/10: The Delusional Mind's Ability To Give Fake Apologizes

Image
Between this.... ...... And this: You further realize how utter rattled they are with how the Spooner family basically ended ANY discussion with their serious defamation of labeling Ms. Sherrod a racist. But they aren't rattled enough to deliver full apologizes from the heart. Currently, Freightfart is nowhere to be found on TV, and nowhere to be found on Twitter as of this post despite his usually avid activity on that social protocol. Meanwhile, just seconds after his apology, O'Liely went back to showing no real contrition, creating the usual right wing nutty false equivalency, blaming Media Matters for "taking his words out of context" like with Sherrod (even though Media Matters has never done that at all.) He proceeded to then have prostitute lover Dick Morris join him in continuing to slam her character: What a bunch of standout straight jacket candidates, huh? I sure hope she does file a lawsuit on Freightfart: I sure hope she does. Beca...

Vilsack Apologies To Sherrod

Image
Tom Vilsack has apologized himself to Shirley Sherrod now, and has offered her another job in the Department. More developments to come folks. And this also puts the story back on Freightfart, O''Liely, Fixed Propaganda and everyone else who smeared this poor lady.

Gibbs: Vilsack Will Apologize to Sherrod

Image
Though it was still a subpar apology that didn't feature a full castigation of how pathetic Andrew Freightfart is, Robert Gibbs has offered an apology to Shirley Sherrod form the whole Administration. There was no indication at all on ordering Tom Vilsack to offer Shirley Sherrod's job back, but only regret for this whole situation occurring. It was just a sad display by Gibbs, not coming full on Messina's stupidity on how much involvement the Administration was on the Sherrod resigning, but the first needed thing has been done.

Jim Messina Has A Boss......

Image
Photo from Pete Souza, WH Photographer What an idiot he is ....what idiots they are as a whole. Breitbart rules their world. But three Democratic sources said Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina, singled the White House’s initial response to the incident out for praise in the regular 8:30 a.m. staff meeting Tuesday morning. The sources differed on the substance of Messina’s praise, but concurred that he had praised the speed of White House communications in response to the flap, which was driven by a misleadingly-edited video posted to Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government website. One source, who is unhappy with the administration’s handling of the incident, paraphrased Messina’s remarks: ’We could have waited all day – we could have had a media circus – but we took decisive action and it’s a good example of how to respond in this atmosphere.’ And Digby says it right : Messina's defenders are reduced to saying that he was just a fool rather than a complete jackass. Either wa...

They Messed With The Wrong One

Image
She isn't going anywhere, and she is calling out the real idiots here : Shirley Sherrod, the former Agriculture Department Georgia Director of Rural Development, says she is a victim. A victim of poor reporting and, as she contends, clear bias and racist coverage from both Andrew Breitbart and Fox News. "When you look at their reporting, this is just another way of seeing that they are (racist)," Sherrod told me about Fox in a lengthy interview Tuesday night. "But I have seen that before now. I saw their reporting as biased during the Bush Administration and the Clinton Administration." The Murdoch Comedy Network doesn't know what to do, playing keep away and just looking at the White House at this. It will be interesting how further low O'Liely will go after he has done nothing but slam Sherrod repeatedly from the moment he laid eyes on the story: Oh, and in one of the lies of 2010 (and of all time), look at Mr. Straight Jacket himself, offerin...

The Real Feel For 7/21/10: The Only Bright Spot In A Dark Hole

Image
Sometimes in an ugly situation can arise a beautiful glimmer of inspiration. While the media continue to wrangle in the discussion of what the Obama White House knew about Tom Vilsack's utterly panicked decision to force Shirley Sherrod out of the Agriculture Department ( while not fully castigate and abase the utter trash that is Andrew Freightfart, Bill O'Liely , and all of those who helped smear this woman), we saw a perfect example of human element at its best, as well as a true embodiment of what unselfish American spirit should be. Sherrod had her father killed by reportedly a KKK member (the attorney of that case confirmed that), who she instead just labeled only as a "white farmer" on CNN yesterday. That obvious pain and mourning over a salvage bastard killing her father in already high charged and pestilent times for Black America in this nation (and particularly in the South) could have lead Sherrod to have a perpetual feeling of abomination and wi...

Even More Than Just Cowardice

The whole video : So far in this entire 24 hour saga now, we have just one person who has given a public apology to Shirley Sherrod. Ben Jealous is the only individual to display needed penitence to the now former prominent Agriculture Department official. And the NAACP leader only did offered up that apology on his Twitter page after getting slammed throughout the day on there, as well as not including the apology in the letter condemning Andrew Freightfart and the right wing nutcases, for not coming sooner after knee jerk chastising he placed on Sherrod last night. No one else from the "Condemn her quick and swift" crowd has yet to offer a full "I am sorry" to Ms. Sherrod. Not the NAACP as a whole. Not the Obama Administration, Tom Vilsack, Cheryl Cook. Not Roland Martin. Not anyone besides Jealous' with his one lonely tweet. In the aftermath of this utter mess of a situation, Janelle Bouie re-brought up Eric Holder's "discussion on race an...

A Prime Example Of Never Ever Jumping The Gun (Update 3X's With NAACP Statement)

Image
Photo from USDA Oh dear as me : Shirley Sherrod, the former Georgia director of Rural Development, said she received a phone call from the USDA's deputy undersecretary Cheryl Cook on Monday while she was in a car. Cook told her that the White House wanted her to call it quits. "They called me twice," Sherrod told the Associated Press. "The last time they asked me to pull over the side of the road and submit my resignation on my Blackberry, and that's what I did." The Obama Administration sure is looking more and more like cowards. And Shirley Sherrod will not be quiet about. Thank goodness she isn't practicing silence on this. Now you have some claiming this proves the NAACP resolution on the Tea Party was indeed wrong, leading Sherrod to be angry at the NAACP with Politico gleefully for to cover it. Although I fear Sherrod is clearly letting the obvious justified anger be based on Jealous' terrible knee jerk tweets last night form her tho...

The 2nd Thread For 7/20/10: The Latest Victim Of How The Rabid Right Wing Machine

For most of July 19th, not many people knew who Shirley Sherrod is. On July 20th, that is certainly no longer the case. Last night, the story broke out, thanks to the Breitbartocalypse nutcases, showing video of Sherrod of the now former member of the Agriculture Department appearing to not show full conviction towards a white male farmer as she would someone else to facilitate him out in his situation. As typical, Murdoch's Comedy Clown Network got the video immediately, and the right wing nutcase machine did what they do best. Yell, Yell, Yell until someone hears. Fortunately for them, the White House shakes in their boots at anytime they yell apparently. Within instance of the story even becoming lukewarm, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack accepted Sherrod's resignation. Now the much scrutinized women tells CNN that her controversial comments were fully taken out of context : "I was speaking to that group, like I've done many groups, and I tell them abo...
