The Thread #2 For 2/5/14: Their Latest Reading Problem

Image
As always, yesterday's CBO Obamacare job/budget report is the latest lack of critical reading comprehension skills of embarrassment proportions affecting conservatives and anyone who just wants to slam any Democratic thing in a heartbeat. Non-liberals, whether it was conservatives or the centrist liberal loathing Beltway media, lapped it up over writing quick headlines of "CBO projects Obamacare to cost 2 million jobs" and ran away deep into the night of the latest Sean Insanity Hannity comedy episode. They have done it before and will do it again, as they always do. Thankfully, there are more opportunities to clown them since they fail to read things all the way through. It's a real shame though, because in real life the nutcases and their base will believe another untrue thing and added to their straight jacket insane legacy. It's the times we live in, but maybe a simple tweet will have assisted in that.   CBO do not find the ACA would cost 2 mill...

O'Liely Continues To Stalk Bloggers............And Has Macklin Of All People Slam Him

(Thanks to Think Progress ) Someone needs to give him a restraining order. That's what those sites that defend his slimy ways get. Think Progress leadman Faiz Shakir explains O'Liely's methods: In his “policing the net” segment, O’Reilly displayed a few hateful comments against Judge Sonia Sotomayor that were posted on Michelle Malkin’s Hot Air blog . Then O’Reilly set his sights on ThinkProgress (aka “ the insects ”): ThinkProgress, another crazy website on the left: “It will be so funny seeing a bunch of old white guys questioning her during the Senate hearings.” Nothing racist about that. You know, these people — as I said on the conservative guy — they don’t think that they’re racist. They don’t think that they’re bigoted. But you know, it’s so obvious they are. In both cases, O’Reilly was not quoting posts on ThinkProgress or Hot Air. Rather, he was referencing a couple of the many commenters that post to each site. But that's what liars do apparently. And what...

10/18/08- TWD's Agenda For the Day: They Are Getting More Ugly and More Delusional By the Minute

Later, we will give you the craziness already uttered by the McCain campaign, and the continued disturbing shill-ery of Tom Brokaw and "Mourning UGGGGGGGGG" Joe Scarborough later. Just a find example of showing conservative Republican discontent is this fellow, who I will keep anonymous for those who don't have Facebook or are friends with me on there, who just can't let go any talking point that he hears from Fox, the SOP's Committee, or the worst campaign ticket in the history of all campaign tickets. It is too hilarious, especially where he tried to defend, defend , Minnesota divisive nutty nut Michele Bachmann's un-American assumptions on MSNBC's Hardball on Friday. You are going to laugh at this : You talking about Ms. Bachman or are you really talking about John Murtha, y our fellow democrat who "LABELED" his own constituents as racist. Again, all Bachman did was point out that Obama has made bad choices with some of the people that he has...

10/12/08- TWD's Agenda for the Day- Three Examples of How Conservatives and this Administration Didn't Care for You

Image
The title says it all, and let us display these examples: From Think Progress' Ali Frick , White House Press Secretary Dana Perino shows how uncaring she is, and a talking points memorize bubblehead as well, by saying these keys words about the economic situation: During today’s press briefing, White House press secretary Dana Perino suggested the Bush administration would oppose any effort to extend jobless benefits — a stance the White House has taken before. She explained their position by saying, “we want people to be able to return to the workplace as soon as possible.” The suggestion was that extending benefits somehow prevents people from returning to work. She concluded by saying that “the best way to help” the economy and unemployed people is for unemployed people to simply “get back to work.” Watch it: I'm stunned too, and I've seen that one a few days ago, and I am still stunned. But it gets better. Once again, from TP, this time from Oklahoma native Satyam Khan...

10/4/08- TWD's Agenda for the "Satur"Day- The Blowout is Shaping, Part 2

Here's more evidence that this race could get even more embarrassing for conservative America, John McCain, and Sarah Palin. It has gotten so bad in the last few weeks, that the question has shifted from "Can they win?" to "Can they even keep this close?" There are reports that Pennslyvania may be gone, and they may move out of there just like Michigan? Moving out of Pennsylvania? PENNSYLVANIA? (thanks to the great Bob Sacremento at the Kos) Many speculated that McCain would now turn his focus to Pennsylvania. But United Steelworkers International president Leo Gerard tells the Huffington Post that the state could soon go the way of Michigan. "We're seeing -- from the several hundred of our people working every day, hand-billing at the plants -- the last two weeks have really been breaking Senator Obama's way," Gerard said over the phone from his office in Pittsburgh. "In particular, I think folks are sort of not taking John McCain as ser...

10/1/08- TWD's Agenda For the Day- Conservative America is Starting to Show Its True Colors

This election just keeps getting uglier and uglier . And it shows how alarming, even 44 years after Lyndon B.Johnson made Civil Rights official, racism still runs deep in this country. But what makes this even worse is the fact that the pains of the past has not been fully embedded in most heads. Even more egregious is how "direct racism" has transfored Especially and regrettably for on the Conservative side: In the aftermath of the financial crisis, conservative commentators have blamed the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), low-income people, minorities, and past Democratic administrations for the sub-prime mortgage meltdown: - Laura Ingraham : “When Bill Clinton decided to tell Robert Rubin to re-write the rules the Community Reinvestment Act and push all of these institutions to lend to minority communities .” - Neil Cavuto : “I don’t remember a blaring call that said, Frannie and Freddie are a disaster, loaning to minorities and risky folks is a disaster .” - Gov. M...
