He previously had pleaded not guilty to illegal gun possession charges that carried at least 3 1/2 years in prison upon conviction. Police said a gun was found on his tour bus in Manhattan in 2007. So, will BET give him a countdown to lockdown series like they did Lil Kim.....probably so. But on an even more serious note, in the era of Emperor Bloomberg in New York City, this is the latest example, even if you're an out of town celebrity, that one mistake could easily lead to jail time if you have a firearm unexpected.
