Here is a segment when a real journalist and truth teller gets simply tried of having the generic "conversation" of "both sides have their story" and takes journalism to where it should always be: Pure truth-telling. Ali Abunimah was sick and tired of Zionist propaganda amalgamated with the real full tales of Gaza pain, and told it like it was. This is a prime example of why news conversations can only be meaningful with people that would acknowledge simple facts first instead of trying to "balance" the discussion. I really couldn't feel bad for Ahmed here because this is the type of news segment that regularly happens on cable news and needs to not occur on an online news channel that wants to keep it fully real all the way. Everybody in the rational online community doesn't need to be reminded of how awesome Anthony Weiner is. And the fact that he represents Brooklyn (though not my district, as Ed Towns represents it) is further admiration for the Congressman. Until further notice, he will remain one of the few public officials that I can confidently call "a public official" instead of a politician. In short, more people like Anthony Weiner would certainly be a benefit to our government, no question about that. But there comes a time when that usually terrific Congressional figure you respect and appreciate a lot is so wrong on an issue that you can't let favoritism block you from criticizing him or her.
