Too Proud To Say "Sorry"

Visit msnbc.com for breaking news , world news , and news about the economy A lot of people this week (particularly a good bit of black people) criticized the NAACP for even thinking one minute about the Tea Party. "They are giving the Tea Party ammunition." "Don't they have more important things to focus on like education and gay rights." "WOW NAACP, way to come to what everyone was saying about the Tea Party last year." "What is the NAACP's purpose anymore." You may have been cognizant of all the lambasting the organization received for speaking out about the Tea Party (not from the Palinities or the Tea Baggers), and they deserved it...... ......If they called the Tea Party "out right racists." Instead, what the NAACP simply did was cast a resolution , declaring that some of the element of the Tea Party for what they were. They didn't call the party "racist". It wasn't an out of control "Look ...

This slapdown from Cavuto today was too funny : Too classic. To Tevin, and onto May 20:

The Break #2 For 4/28/10: The Gaffe Of The Year Not From Michael Steele

Image
Seriously, this is massive overthere in the technical motherland of the U.S. Prime Minister Gordon Brown has been caught on microphone describing a voter he had just spoken to in Rochdale as a "bigoted woman". Sixty five-year-old Gillian Duffy had challenged Mr Brown on a number of issues including immigration and crime. As he got into his car, he was still wearing a broadcast microphone and was heard to say "that was a disaster". Mr Brown later apologised after the tape was played to him as he was interviewed on BBC Radio 2. After listening to the recording, with his head in his hands, he said: "I do apologise if I've said anything that has been hurtful." Now I don't know how strong the word "bigot" is over there and to whether it is seen as a sexist term in comparison to just being called a racist here in the 50 State Union. But I do know this: Brown is fully into damage control right now. Score one big time for David Came...

"His Biggest Gaffe Ever"

Image
Photo from the RNC The "Gaffe King" himself may just have uttered his biggest gaffe ever today . And that is an amazing accomplishment: I noted below that Republicans were likely to be mighty ticked off at Michael Steele for acknowledging that the GOP has employed a “southern strategy” for upwards of four decades. Now conservative writer Bruce Bartlett is pushing back hard on Steele’s interpretation of history and claiming it’s his biggest gaffe yet. Bartlett tells Dave Weigel that while the GOP certainly reached out to southern whites, it wasn’t a racial strategy: Of course, the national party reached out to them, but the idea that they used racial code words like “law and order” is nonsense. Crime was a legitimate problem. Moreover, Nixon did more to desegregate the schools than any other president. I think it’s too bad that Steele gave Democrats reason to believe that their distorted vision of how Republicans came to dominate the South is correct. It may be his bigg...

Your Daily "Michael Steele Makes A Complete And Utter Fool Of Himself" Post

It just continues to be a wreck that is so enjoyable to watch . What makes this even more hilarious to watch is the fact that I actually believe Steele on this one, though not in the merits of then comparing himself to the guy he wish he could be. Steele's admission of race playing a part of him having a smaller margin of error than if he was white is only belivable based on the fact that he needed to be gaffe-free in order for Republicans not to be made clowns like they are. Steele's basic roll is to be the RNC's own black cheerleader of their failed ideas and corrupt ways to show the casual observer of politics that "Republicans are nowhere near racist and blah, blah, blah." But everyday, he still makes a great fool of himself for all of us to admire, where Dave Chappelle probably couldn't write a sketch this good. Joe Scarborough was angry again at this latest low point for the figurehead, as he and his morning crew of idiots definitely painted the...

Your Daily "Michael Steele Makes A Complete And Utter Fool Of Himself" Post

Because it really is a daily routine : Michael Steele’s statement , by contrast, doesn’t even acknowledge that the economy added jobs — it just notes that the White House is “spinning” the “job numbers” — and doesn’t say a word about the Recovery Act, a frequent target of GOP criticism. The hole that he keeps digger for himself is lower than the Earth's core.

The Fun Thread For 3/30/10: Letterman On The RNC's Strip Club Policy

Genius: Who knew Mario was evil ? I'm shocked Derek Jeter isn't on this list . Did you know there are 478 "gay" animals ........seriously. Get ready for the IPhone . This "Kick Ass" movie is making a lot of people angry because of kids cursing. And finally, to close out, I have got to give a deserved shoutout to Dave Days and his hilarious video for Miley Cyrus . I was very skeptical at first, but it's worth the watch: Your Fun Thread for the day.

Yesterday's Leftovers For 3/30/10: The RNC Nightclub Blame Game Continues

Image
Already, we have seen the first officially axed person from the aftermath of a very embarrassing day for the RNC yesterday (and a great day for The Daily Caller): A Republican National Committee staffer who went to a risque Hollywood nightclub with party donors and then expensed the tab has been fired, RNC Chief-of-Staff Ken McKay said in an internal memo sent to committee members late Monday and obtained by CNN. McKay said an investigation into how the RNC ended up financing a nearly $2,000 outing at Voyeur - a trendy Los Angeles club where topless dancers can be seen mimicking sex acts - determined that a group of young donors went to the club after attending a Young Eagles event in Los Angeles in February. The Young Eagles program is an RNC effort to cultivate up-and-coming donors in their 30s and 40s. One of the donors in the group that night was Erik Brown, a GOP consultant from Orange County, who ultimately picked up the tab at the club. But despite all of this, Dave We...

Michael Steele Quotes Shaggy Without Attribution

For Michael Steele's troubles today , I have the perfect song for his explanation. He is just amazing. And only Mr. Steele could make the Daily Caller actually be relevant. Only him.

Obama Mocks Steele........Hard

Yesterday, the prominent useless figurehead of the nutty party said this: In response just an hour or so ago, President Obama responded and made great fun of another highlight in "Steele Stupidity." Who knew that Armageddon would be so calm?

Yeah, You Go Do That

Knowing him, he made do just that:

Only Him......Only Him

He just doesn't get the memo. Michael Steele is part of the ACORN voterfraud conspiracy.

What's Worse Than Being A Figurehead? Being A Worthless One

Image
And that is the case with that clown : Republican leaders, "in a private meeting last month, delivered a blunt and at times heated message to RNC Chairman Michael Steele: quit meddling in policy," reports Politico . Lawmakers "were particularly miffed that Steele had in late August unveiled a seniors' 'health care bill of rights' without consulting with them." "Steele was taken aback by the comments from House Minority Leader John Boehner, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Minority Whip Jon Kyl, Senate GOP conference Chairman Lamar Alexander of Tennessee and Senate GOP policy Chairman John Thune of South Dakota and grew defensive during the 10-minute discussion." The whipping boy of this year is no question Steele. He continues to get punked so much, Ashton Kutcher should let him remake the series. A figurehead that isn't even good at being a figurehead. Indeed so.

The Daily Open Thread #2 For 9/2/09: Goodness, Jon Voight Is A Nutcase

At least Brad loves him.

The Defender Of The Defenseless Health Insurance Companies

What a hero he is. Steele is like that opposing QB that you know will throw an interception to help your team and hurt his.

July 21, 2009.......The Latest Embarrassing Day From Michael Steele, Part 1

The whole video is worth watching, but fast forward to 7:35 to watch and see how dumb this man is. Steele doesn't even know who his own health care provider is. So sad, and wait until you see part 2 of Steele's day. This is the 2nd TV interview that he did. Wait to you see how further embarrassed he was in his first interview on Morning Joe in the next post.

A Contrast If There Ever Was One

First, the stupid: Yes, so socialism despite the urging of keeping the private insurance companies in health care reform to compete. Yes, that is so socialist indeed Thankfully now, the intelligent: Black and white most be the same colors after you see this post. Update : Video problems, had the wrong embed of McConnell, so my bad if I made some of you guys go "WTF" just now. Obama is the second video. The intelligent one.

7/20/09- TWD's Agenda For The Day: "Teh Scary Government Option, OMG"

Image
The spinning is strong this morning ladies and gentlemen. From Michael Steele showing his gutless lying at the National Press Club to people pushing the Washington Post poll about President Obama's approval ratings going down in handling this issue (I only report the numbers people), the push to stop a public option is getting stronger. And the reason why? Because the call for a public option itself is getting stronger and thensome. And thensome. And if you look at this issue from a neutral, rational, unbias perspective, that push for a public option is stronger than the push against it. Much stronger. From Obama pushing on Friday ( and his weekly address ) to even a vote being announced on single payer of all things in the House Amendment bill, the tide has changed. The 76% of the nation wants a government led insurance choice. The majority is clear. The house CBO final report, final report , shows we'll get a $6 billion surplus if that bill is implemented like it is now. T...

The Only Black Guy Who Pat Buchanan Maybe Cooler Than

Image
I'm not kidding, sadly. Last February, RNC Chairman Michael Steele got widely mocked when he told the Washington Times that he wanted to apply the Republican Party’s principles “to urban-surburban hip-hop settings.” Guest hosting Bill Bennett’s radio show today, Steele explained to a caller exactly how he planned to reach out to those “settings.” “I’m working up a little game plan for the fall that would allow me to spend some time on a number of BET channels as well as Radio One Cathy Hughes, her network,” said Steele. Steele added that he plans “to actually visit some of these colleges and universities and have a conversation.” Steele said he planned “a little hip-hop storm” : Just listen. "A Hip Hop Storm" he will cause. I love how he tries so hard to be cool. And fails doing it in the process.

He Just Can't Stop Being Stupid

You just run of words to describe Michael Steele: Updated :.....Yet, this fool describes the Obama Administration as "numb nuts"
