Normally, MSNBC's Courtney Haslett rubs me the wrong way with her attitude, but she does dig deep in her reporting, and she has common sense. And she did good today reporting that Mariah Carey at yesterday's Memorial was able to hit her high notes because she didn't have time to practice. And it shows how Mariah didn't give a damn about whether she was going to sound good or not. And to me, she sounded just alright to me. And another thing: I can understand the talk about her cleavage yesterday......but that shouldn't override any discussion of where her heart was at all yesterday.

A needed move In the wake of Michael Jackson’s sudden death, a scene featuring LaToya Jackson in Sacha Baron’s Cohen’s new comedy “Bruno,” has been cut from the film prior to Thursday night’s Los Angeles premiere, Access Hollywood has learned. LaToya, Michael Jackson’s older sister, made an accidental cameo in “Bruno,” similar to one by Paula Abdul, where she was coaxed over to a home in Los Angeles for an interview with the fake Austrian fashion journalist. A source at Universal, the studio behind the film, told Access Hollywood that the scene in the movie with LaToya, which involves a Michael reference, was cut from tonight’s premiere out of respect for the family. The scene may also end up deleted when the movie heads out on general release in the United States beginning July 10, the source added . And they should do that as well.
