The Break #2 For 4/4/10: Shocking.....McNabb Traded To The Redskins

Image
Wow.....enough said. It is being rumored that McNabb was traded to the Redskins for a second rounder, as his expected value was in the eyes of all the trades he was rumored to be in. Obviously for those who follow the sport, it's not the fact that McNabb got traded that is the stunning tidbit. It is the fact to who he got traded for. No one of any reputable sports source that I know saw McNabb being traded to a divisional rival. In fact, the team emerging as his likely place of destination was the Raiders. Instead, McNabb's trade will go down as one of the most stunning deals in league history, exchanged to the team just a two hours drive at most away from his future former domicile. Talk about a deal that caught everyone blindsided, literally.

This was ion regards to lame turkey coach Rod Marinelli, and how even the venerable but still young Jeff Fisher of all coaches did a classless thing: It is impossible to sugarcoat the painful fact Marinelli is 10-34, including 13 losses in a row and defeats in 19 of his last 20 games at the helm. It's not as if the team is improving either; it keeps getting worse all the time. Even his peers show him no respect. It is a code among NFL head coaches to not run up the score, call timeouts in the fourth quarter of routs or throw needless challenge flags in the final minutes of games -- unless, of course, it involves New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick and former protege Eric Mangini of th...

Sports Thread #1- Donovan McNabb Doesn't Know About Ties

We will have more on Week 11 tomorrow with Plays of the Week and a power rankings, but for today, we will leave you with this hilarious moment from Donovan McNabb. The Eagles quaterback didn't know that ties exist in the NFL, something that a few fans feel that he was being sarcastic about after their stalemate with the woeful Bengals on Sunday. Too funny to watch.
