Double Standard, Much?

CNN ran a headline tonight saying, "Obama's 12 day vacation in Hawaii nearing its end, family plans to move to Washington this weekend." Amazingly enough, President-elect Obama is not the President. Wouldn't you think about having an update of the current President, in his last few days, amidst all the craziness going on, since he is still, you know, the President? Nope, no deep discussions or headlines about him ending his vacation in Crawford, Texas. Yes, his vacation, at the end of his tenure, and yet, he takes a vacation just because it is the holiday season? Didn't he take plenty of vacations this year, like official ones (because with the job he's done, we all know he taking his share of unofficial vacations until his friends signal him to show his ugly head to get bills like FISA passed of course). Nevertheless, he goes free without any coverage from the likes of CNN or MSNBC. No coverage, or outrage, of why he isn't working his butt off 24/7 from o...

Jed Lewison Puts CNN On Blast Hard Today

We mentioned earlier how awesome Jed Lewison is . Here is another example , as neo-CNN shows how embarrassing of a network it has sadly become, thanks to AOL/Time Warner becoming owners. Thanks to the searching and rationally alarmed perspective of ruscle at the Kos, you won't believe this mess of a headline from CNN: Unbelievable, and I let ruscle explain further how stupid and irresponsible this headline is: Is this a poor choice of words? Certainly. And it pisses me off that CNN is taking a story that would have been more factually presented with this headline Obama in position to win Virginia -- and replaced it with a negatively biased headline incorporating the idea that Obama might steal something instead of winning if fair and square. And he isn't done yet: It's bad enough that CNN slants the headline to frame it as a black man stealing from the GOP. It is a stupid frame to imply that Virginia is owned by the GOP and is something that can be stolen -- as opposed to what it really happening -- Obama is winning by being a better, more appealing candidate who is winning over voters hearts and minds. It is offensive that CNN is putting this ...
