The man, whose life, along with Mike Wooten, was ruined by Sarah Palin, was in Alaska's capital today, talking to some students : Former Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan spoke about trust and integrity in government at this month's UAA brown bag luncheon for journalism students. Monegan, a class act for what most have reported about him in Alaska, wanted to stay clear of talking about the controversy (to say the least) surrounding him and Governor Palin abusing her powers in firing him from his job. And he did just so. But Monegan steered clear of addressing his recent situation and didn't name the governor. Some of the journalism students were hoping he would.
