Here's the quick weekend runthrough: Obama's kept it real on Meet The Press today , telling the sad hack that is Tom Brokaw right now that "The economy is going to get worse before it gets better." Condi Rice flip flops and flip flops some more. Okay, she didn't really do so, but her comments are nevertheless still "uggggghhhhhhhhhhh". As the video from Think Progress shows on the Fixed Propaganda Mournday (Fox News Sunday) show this morning, she expresses regrets about Iraq but doesn't regret taking out Saddam. In fact, she calls the removal of the former dictator, "a strategic achievement." Yes, she said that, and still does say that, STILL : Enough of the rift wrath. From Darksyde at the Kos : With eloquence and humility, Former Secretary of State and retired General Colin Powell just provided a ringing endosement of Barack Obama as President for the United States. Among the many reasons he mentioned for his support were that Obama has reached out 'across the nation,' and 'has both the style and substance to be an exceptional President.' He ended by stating "I'll be voting for Barack Obama." Not surprisingly, McCain ain't happy about Powell's endorsement: Tina Fey does it again, while Sarah Palin was there. And Sarah Palin was not happy with Tina Fey, just watch the body language.
