TWD's Weekend series, Sadly Forgotten, returns for the New Year. And the first artist to get that recognition as one that has faded away from most individuals memories is an R&B artist by the name of Jimmy Cozier. Once again, Cozier is another R&B artist from the 2000/2001 era that had some solid hype, only to fade away completely after the first album. Funny enough, Cozier does have a Twitter page (though he hasn't used it since this summer), as well as a Myspace page trying to keep his career going. He apparently had an album release last year, and somehow he labeled his singles as "hits" even though though they came closer to being heard on a tapedeck than on the radio. The song that comes to most people's minds from this artist is the only song that comes to most people's minds from this artist. And that is "She's All I Got." TWD's Sadly forgotten series returns with one that will make people truly laugh, whether you are dealing with the snow, at the airport, or just seemingly trying to get through this "less than one week to Christmas" date. The latest artists apart of this series is none other than the R&B one song and gone artist Truth Hurts. From 2002, with Rakim in the first and last track I would ever see of her, here is "Addictive." Believe it or not, she does have a Wikipedia page , and did release a second album in 2004. Still, that makes her another proud member of the "Sadly Forgotten" club. Enjoy!

The Sadly Forgotten series continues with this long forgotten group. From the year 2000, here is the mostly vanished forever "Fugees" compared group, City High. Where have they gone? I heard one of the guys, the skinny one, had a child with Claudette Ortiz, the female singer for those who didn't know her name. From 2001 at this time, Milwaukee was in a massive state of bliss because that city thought it had its first major rapper on the scene. His name was Coo Coo Cal. Man, talk about someone that was literally, a one-hit and gone. Heck, it wasn't even a hit, or a semi semi hit. But the hook from the only song that I (and almost everyone else) know about, "My Projects", was sure catchy as heck.
