The Whole Delivery

Take it back to 15 Spring seasons ago, back in 2001, where So So Def's ATL group was in its prime. After "Let's Get Married," Jermaine Dupri's 4-man unit equaled its friendly rivals 112 at the time with top single after top single in the black music world.  With Nelly emerging at the same time, it was the right combination for a hit that still goes strong in 2016. So, your first Flashback Friday of the day, it's Jagged Edge feat Nelly with "Where The Party At?" More from The Whole Delivery in a bit, stay tuned.

Made even more iconic for how The Boondocks's "Tom" karoked it to perfection , "Burn" as the second single for "Confessions" help continue Usher's push to full superstardom a decade ago during this time. Jermaine Durpri produced another classic beat for this terrific ballard that wasn't too slow. And though the music video was subpar as for what it could have been, "Burn" still resonates up there as one of Raymond's Top 5 in my mind. So for today's Flashback Friday first choice, it's "Burn" from a decade ago. More to come at The Whole Delivery in a bit, stay tune.

Once again, bringing this 1993 smooth classic back that further certified Jermaine Dupri and So So Def as a force in music to be reckon with. It's "Xscape's "Just Kickin It", once again a Flashback Friday selection. More to come at The Whole Delivery later on in the day.

Maybe because they split is why this song never gets a much replay as you think it may have for how it was "on point" a decade ago. 2nd Flashback for this week, it's Janet and J.D. with their hit "Someone To Call My Love.
