King Mike and one of his many wealthy buddies in Road Runners queen Mary Wittenberg were full stream ahead with having their marathon go as planned today all throughout Friday, until regular New Yorkers, especially in the marathon's starting point in Staten Island, gave their thoughts on how idiotic and immoral their out of touch plutocratic thoughts were. One Staten Island native putting it clear as day how angry they were (and still are) at Bloomberg was Maryanne Alessio on Fox News' Neil Cavuto, a network that certainly felt the need to rip Bloomberg constantly after he tepidly endorsed Obama the day before. Our centrist media, vapid culture, embarrassing itself and thinking about its desperate horserace desires instead of being real journalists focusing on real details. So sad, as always.
