Trust me folks, no one is more sick of him than Tavaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfields. So your position on the line is behind those two.

The Break #2/Sports Thread #1 For 8/3/10: Brett Favre To Inform Team Of Retirement

Image
Who knows if this will stay firm or not, but Brett Favre is playing to inform the minnesota Vikings that he will retire from the game for good. Only the Minnesota Star Tribune , with no confirmation from Favre or the Vikings, has the report on the texting. Brad Childress now has to pin his hopes on Tavaris Jackson or Sage Rosenfels.

Sports Thread #1 For 10/5/09: Favre Putting On A Show As Vikings Lead Packers Into The 4th

A Packer fan's worst nightmare. But the star of the game could have easily been Jared Allen, who harassed Aaron Rodgers all night. The Packers clearly missed Chad Clifton tonight, but their secondary was shredded by Favre, especially their safeties. Turnovers killed Mike McCarthy's side, but Rodgers and the offense should have nothing to be ashamed about. The night though, of course, belong to Mr. Wangler. He has now beaten all 32 teams in the league, which no quarterback has done. He continues to prove me and others wrong.

Photo from AP's Jim Mone Mark Sanchez and the Jets, writing their tickets to the Super Bowl......to play the Giants, lol. Premature? With how they are playing, I beg to differ. Well, what another week of wild 1PM games, especially pertaining to two NFC North teams getting big home wins. What more can you say about Brett Favre. I and many others have hammered him and Brad Childress relentlessly for basically bringing dow the Vikings season to his play. And so far, after three games, we have egg on our face, especially I. Favre's amazing heroics came in the Vikings dramatic 27-24 victory of a 49ers team on the verge of going 3-0. Instead, it is the Purple People Eaters. Favre's touchdown pass to Greg Lewis with 2 seconds left brought Vikings fans and players to sheer jubilation, and left Niners supporters and participants in utter anguish. The headlines will leap all praise on Favre, and deservedly so. This is the type of late heroics that could put the Vikings over the top ...

Sports Thread #1 for 8/18/09: It's Gotten So Stupid.....

Image
...... Yeah Brett Favre is on his way to Minnesota to meet with the Vikings. Coach Brad Childress confirmed in an e-mail to The Associated Press on Tuesday morning that the 39-year-old quarterback was traveling from Mississippi to meet with the team, just three weeks after Childress said Favre told him he would stay retired. Asked if the plan was to sign Favre on Tuesday, Childress replied: "In a perfect world." Michael Vick, you have been replaced by Brett Favre in the top headlines. The stupidest story of the year.

Says Brad Childress . But as Michael Wilborn just said, who knows?

Sports Thread for 6/10/09: The Chronicles of Brett Favre and the Vikings

It gets more annoying and comical with each passing day And for a supposedly disclipine coach like Brad Childress, his coaching at the moment couldn't be more undisclipine.
