In Freedom Hall's Finale, it was the premiere of the Kyle Kurig era finally after two almost dreadful first seasons. The much maligned sophomore put on a second half display to remember, dropping all of his 20 points in the contest to lead the Cardinals in knocking off #1 Syracuse for the second time this season 78-68. Though Rick Pitino's team was already in the tournament in most minds before today's game, this win cements their position in everyone's minds no question. And with how competitive they have been in almost every game this year, don't count them out into getting towards the latter stages of next week's Big East tournament.
