Potter has been a wonderful blessing in the emotion driven fight for a true health system for the people over the last year and a half. But his restraint in not labeling his former colleagues in the field "monsters" and just saying their continued actions to deny children coverage is just "part of the system" exonerates them from their crimes. What an encouraging number, isn't it? The number of Californians who lost jobs and health insurance probably increased in every county last year, according to a study released Monday by the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. The new analysis found that 37 counties -- including Imperial, Kern and Shasta -- had uninsured rates above the statewide average of 24.3%. "Different parts of the state were more adversely impacted than others, but really it is spread across the state," said one of the study's authors, Shana Alex Lavarreda, the center's director of health insurance studies. "You have counties from Kern to Shasta that were hit very hard with averages over what we saw in Los Angeles," she added. The report backs up the findings of a previous study the center released in March that showed nearly one in four Californians lack health insurance. Now I don't know if that is a great move for trying to not be the party fully aligned with fighting for the heart and souls of the wonderful people at the health insurance companies. But at least he's nuttiness was fully open to his constituents and the local media for all to see ! All of us (and I just don't mean the folks apart of the rational online community, I mean everyone) should know by now that this is how all the Republicans feel about their fellow citizens. A feeling of nothing for them. Nothing at all. Blunt doesn't give a single thought of consideration on raped women or anyone else denied coverage for even the simplest of things. And it is just the latest shocking example of how unshocking these insane psychopaths are.
