Okay, this is the thing with the Eminem-Bruno situation: Though Eminem was told before hand that some prank was going to go down with Sasha Cohen, he didn't know that it would get to that extent. Simple as that, and a reason why he, nor MTV have probably hasn't release a statement yet. He knew, but he didn't know the whole details. If he wasn't, then maybe Nick Cannon was. I guest the start of music journalism has gotten to the point that what artists twitter on their pages is a main story. That's not a "sigh comment" or expressing disappointment with that, because there are a whole lot worse in music journalism. But it is what it is.
