In the crazy conservative conference of the month (Southern Republican Leadership Conference), Mitt Romney has won the straw poll over Ron paul just one vote . So the former governor of Massachusetts has won the straw poll there. You mean to tell me a socialist won at a conservative place??? My, how times are changing.

Stimulus Hating Idiot #2: Ron Paul- The Stimulus Will Prolong Our Pain

It's scary how people take this fool seriously. Now Paul has always been anti-war, and that's okay. But he is still a beyond psycho who would probably want to cut spending even if we were at 90% unemployment. This guy said he would rather have the whole stimulus be a "tax cut" instead of the wasted 1/3 it was (though it went to middle class families though). You can fast forward to 1:30 to save time from having him being stupid and seeing Kiran Chetry fail at holding a political figure accountable again. Now I know it's cool that he is being bipartisan with Alan Grayson to audit the Fed and all, but Paul is still for me a guy who really would have this country relegate into third world status if he got anywhere near some real control.

Thankfully it didn't go Watt and his supporters way : Today, the House Financial Services Committee passed an amendment to their financial regulatory reform bill that would mandate an audit of the Federal Reserve. The Paul-Grayson amendment, named for its chief sponsors, Reps. Ron Paul and Alan Grayson, passed the committee by a count of 43-26. Almost with a similar feeling of last night's "Too Big Too Fail" banks vote , this one has a ways to go in order to be law.
