After nine seasons and two networks, Braff says the ABC comedy won't return next year. For those across the country hearing about an ABC blackout in New York City, that is the case for a solid number of its residents. Locally here in the big Apple, people who have "Cablevision" as a channel service provider are out of luck right now thanks to its continued fight with Disney over......money. What a surprise! The fault seems to actually go more towards Disney and ABC for being greedy (since they were the ones to pull the plug), but there is no sympathy in the area for Cablevision at all. So if you aren't computer savvy (like those who read this blog), then you are out of luck thanks to powerful elites acting like children again. Especially the Mickey Mouse club. The news that everyone knew a few weeks ago is official : The media mogul Oprah Winfrey will end her iconic daytime talk show, “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” in 2011 as she prepares to start a cable channel of her own. A spokeswoman for Ms. Winfrey’s production company confirmed Thursday evening that Ms. Winfrey will make the announcement on her program on Friday. The plans were first reported by WABC, the ABC affiliate in New York City. “The sun will set on the Oprah show as its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011,” WABC said.
