After a good period of silence in order for him to not blow his race even further, the son of Ron Paul is back to his usual outrageous public stupidity. Oh is it a fun return indeed : “People say, ‘Oh those Tea Party people, they’re angry.’ I say: ‘No, they’re concerned and they’re worried.’ They’re worried that we could destroy the currency by adding such a massive debt.” Paul then invoked the Nazis: “In Germany it led to Hitler. ” Haha, he mentions the magic word indeed. Glad to have you back Randy Rand, make sure you keep them coming instead of hiding from the world (and Kentucky voters) seeing how incredibly idiotic you are. Maybe he was sad that he was loosing attention : Here's another one for the list of out-there Rand Paul statements... Paul recently suggested to a Russian TV station that the U.S. should abandon its policy of granting citizenship to the children of illegal immigrants -- even if they're born on U.S. soil. Paul also said he's discussed instituting an "underground electrical fence" on the border to keep out unwanted elements, though he emphasized that he's "not opposed to letting people come in and work and labor in our country." The real problem, Paul said, is that the U.S. "shouldn't provide an easy route to citizenship" because of "demographics." Shame that there is only 2% Hispanic population at best to make Paul play for his statements. And it obviously sets a dangerous precedent where even if you are born here, only Paul will determine who is a citizen and who isn't. But that's Randy Rand for you.

Ezra Klein said this perfectly yesterday , among many things, about the man of the week: So I take Paul at his word that he's not a racist. What he is, however, is an ideological extremist. He is so categorically opposed to public regulation of private enterprise that he cannot even bring himself to say that the Woolworth lunch counter should've been desegregated. Instead, he falls back on the remedies of the market: "I wouldn't attend, wouldn't support, wouldn't go to," a private institution that discriminates, he told Rachel Maddow. But he would let them discriminate. And in the segregated South, that would've been a perfectly viable business model for many, many very important institutions. And he still can't say it : Paul had a chance this morning on ABC News to clarify his views on the proper role of Federal power vis-a-vis discrimination by private entities and institutions.
