Some of you today may have read how Sallie Mae is planning to stop President Obama's Student Loans "Get the middle man" out ambitious plans. Well, meet the one leading Sallie Mae's efforts in trying to accomplished that really shameful action. Her name is Jamie Gorelick. Now, there maybe some of you that know of this lady's history since being the Clinton Administration's Deputy Attorney General and appointee for Tom Daschle's Commissioner for of the 9/11 attacks. I am in the crowd of those who would have said "Who" if you mentioned her name to me this morning. And for those still not privy to any information on Gorelick, this individual has a rap sheet that resembles a cross between Carly Fiorina and a Citibank executive. Her time at Fannie Mae sure was something that should make her eligible for white and black stripes, if you know what I mean. Some are once again giving heat to Alan Grayson for his usage of the word "whore" to describe former Enron lobbyist Linda Robertson. Well, basically that some consist of the usual Republican hypocrites, but also include some on Grayson's fan club that feel he shouldn't have used the word "whore." For me, this is akin to his usage of the word "holocaust" to describe the non-plan SOP health care ideas, and how some, including Rachel Maddow, gave him criticism on that. For me, just like with "holocaust", I may have wished Grayson said another word besides "whore" not because of him needing to tone it down at all, but because we wouldn't have to hear anybody slam this man for telling the 100% truth like he has done thus far in his way. We believe the public option is a necessary useful and very important aspect of this, but we’ll have to see because there are many other important aspects of the bill as well. On a private conference call, a group of top Tea Party and conservative organizers offered a surprisingly frank description of their goal, according to a source on the call: Completely blocking any kind of bipartisan compromise, and completely preventing any type of health care reform bill at all from ever becoming law. The source who got himself on the call was an organizer for the AFL-CIO, and AFL-CIO spokesman Eddie Vale provided me with the organizer’s notes. It’s certain to be seized on by Dems to argue that organized Tea Party opposition to Obama has no constructive intentions and is fomenting public “concern” about Obama’s plan solely to prevent any reform from ever taking place.
