Or, with today's version, multiple energy boosts. Leading off, it's new English artist Jessie J with her first notable real notable single "Price Tag", with B.O.B. providing the third verse assistance: That song was placed in today because of how awful it was to endure Rihanna's latest over the top video for her dreadful "S&M" song. Music Thread For 8/19/10: The Collaboration Of A Lifetime

Your lifetime . I sure do hope Raekwon is getting good money for this : Ye and Bieber corresponded back and forth on Wednesday, before the rapper invited the young singer to appear on a track. He wrote, "I'm honored that you like my Music @JustinBieber!!! You gotta hear the album. Maybe we can do something together. Me, You, and Raekwon." Bieber responded, "Me, u, and the chef 2gether on a song = EPIC. Might sound crazy 2 u but even having this convo is a living dream. Thanks." Because the flack he's catching for even being apart of this is really high today. Thank goodness today is a day I don't have to hear anything about Foxy Brown or her brother being in trouble. Same too for DMX. Erykah Badu gets probation . For all you Kate Perry fans, an interview for her in the NY Times to continue the hype for her second album . And Norah Jones is one of the realest for a reason, other than being born from Brooklyn !

She also claimed that Hip-Hop had not “elevated our industry musically,” before blaming the music for a number of issues within the African-American community. “It definitely has not elevated us as African-Americans, because we show disrespect for our partners, men and women,” Knight stated. “I believe we have lowered our self-esteem with these performances and presentations.” Though she has allowed some artists to sample her stuff over the years, Knight is every bit justified in what she is saying. Of course, she could have done a way better job of mentioning the positive rappers who haven't denigra...
