Yes Singapore is celebrating its 44th birthday with a massive party by the bay - the National Day Parade (NDP) at the Marina Bay Floating Platform. Thousands of people are gathered on the bay to catch the NDP from the parade stands and around the area. Thousands more are watching the parade on television and online. The show started in the evening and is still going on.
