From "THEE onside" kick to the efficiency of Drew Brees along with the injuries slowing down Dwight Freeney and an ordinary looking Reggie Wayne, there were many factors in last night's New Orleans Saints first championship. But probably an overlooked factor in the Saints victory last night that no one has mentioned is how the absence of long term secondary stalwarts Marlon Jackson and Bob Sanders. All season long, Jim Caldwell and company have done a marvelous job at having their defense perform so well without the All-Pro Sanders and pro bowl corner Jackson.
