Alan Greenspan Is Now Un-American

Remember when CNBC Wall Street shill extraordinaire Trish Regan said this on Sunday (fast forward to 5:45-6:00): She called taxing the rich and letting the Bush Tax cuts go "un-American." Well, from Mr. Bubbles : I guess Trish Regan will tell Andrea Mitchell's husband that he is un-American.

Yesterday's Leftovers For 7/13/10: They Could Teach Babies How To Cry

The rich sure do lose their minds and thensome with the fears of the insane Bush tax cuts possibly coming to an end. Two great latest examples came from the Sunday crap show circuit, and boy were they enjoyable. Arizona's other A-hole Senator got his temper to come to the surface when asked that question from non other than Chris Wallace about those evil days of possible post-Bost tax era: But maybe even more disgusting to see is resident top class shill Trish Regan of fully own and free to whore CNBC described how raising taxes on the rich is truly un-American . If you can stomach it, she says that wonderful patriotic comment at around 5:45 -6:00 (because the rest of the segment isn't worth seeing, although I do give Joe Klein credit of course). Someone provided one of the realest quotes based on watching that pathetic and selfish display from just another "money honey." It was a quote that justified the total incongruity of it all: That's the po...

Stimulus Hating Idiot #1: Jim Cramer- "Stimulus Is A Total Fraud"

Why does CNBC still exist? The entertainment this presents is fun to watch though. "Nothing, nothing, nothing at all" he says. Has this nuts' image taken a hit or what?

Your Liberal Media Part 4357875

Hardwood was tolerable for me until he showed fully how much of an idiot he truly is : Hardwood's arrogance and stupidity are in full display. "Idiotic" are liberals who disagree with the Senate bill, and "they should be thankful" to Harry Reid he says. Yet, he admits to himself "This isn't a good bill." The idiots who are suppose to be our important reporters in this nation. It is no wonder why many respectable figures don't take them seriously at all.

The Akward Gray Area Of Anonymous Sources Again

Image
Today, John Harwood has felt some heat for those on "Rational online" websites after the White House pushed back on that idiot anonymous advisor who slammed bloggers on this weekend. Now Harwood has told FDL's creator that the advisor was indeed an inside source and not an outsider. I asked Harwood to clarify. He confirmed that the quote came from “an Obama adviser.” He did say that the comments weren’t specifically directed at “the LGBT community or the marchers,” but “referred more broadly to those grumbling on the left about an array of issues including the war in Afghanistan and health care and Guantanamo.” Jane then adds her own two cents This is what happens when journalists allow sources to take cheap shots from behind the cloak of anonymity granted for no good reason. The source doesn’t have to own it if it backfires, and the journalist gets stuck with the reputation for sloppy and erroneous reporting if they decide to dump it on you. Which is exactly what’s ...

Let The Sideshow Continue (Update)

From the audio yesterday to now the video. On a serious note here, journalism is rolling in its grave again as this spreads. How in the world did a supposedly off the record interview be not only audio recorded, but now shot at the same time? Now of course, pre recording is a norm sometimes when the camera is rolling before an interview. You don't need to have taken a few broadcast journalism classes to know that. Still, the fact that Politico got this from CNBC speaks volumes of how we are continuing on a full scale deterioration of journalism ethics in this country. Off the record use to mean "off the record." Update : Politico Has Taken Down the video. I wonder why, hmmmmmm? Key words in that last sentence: "use to." Update 2 : Once it is online, you just can't take it down. And once a network gets it, it stays.

The Daily Open Thread For 9/15/09: John Hardwood Creating Another Sideshow For Obama

Image
TMZ is ridiculously amazing in how it gets this stuff , whether you hate them or not. And as you here from the audio, this has been the second moment that Obama has given Hardwood a classic casual moment: More to come, and hopefully, not from the TMZ world.

Via TPM: Another Embarrassing Moment For CNBC?

Image
Oh boy, the network of Burnett & Baritiromo looks to have suffered another embarrassment by encouraging a group of teabaggers to help in their search of a rowdy town hall: Martin tells TPMmuckraker that she did not forward the Scott townhall -- or, in fact, any event -- on to CNBC as a candidate for coverage. She stressed that her group "does not endorse anything that incites violence of any kind," adding that the email list is un-moderated. "I can't moderate every single comment," she said. Asked whether CNBC had specifically told her they were looking for an event with "lots of energy and lots of anger," Martin replied: "That was the impression that I received from them." She declined to elaborate. CNBC did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Will be interesting if Olbermann or Maddow went there on this. Would be so.
