Compared to the likes to Limbaugh and Gingrich, your level of civil can be so high that you don't have to say "Thank you" when someone holds the door and yet still be considered having manners. That is the position of Republican Senators whenever they say they will be civil in the discourse of today's hearing with Sonia Sotomyor today. Of course they won't call the judge "racist" like those fools will because the party would diminish even further than the current wreck it is right now. However, the questions will still be obnoxious and asinine from some of the "Party of No's" Senators, especially if asking if Sotomayor wants to reframe her comments from 2001. Also to note, a lot of conservative groups want their party leaders to filibuster this, as if they needed any more stress. So it will be interesting to see who will have the dumbest question of the day.
