Because it is just too serious, sad, and funny at the same time not to have a daily one: Some clown on Fox saying what he said, calling global warming is a hoax, and saying that the globe is cooling : ABC is joining in on the supposed "Climategate" Oh geez : So true These people haven't fooled themselves, but they might have fooled you. Who, among those of you who claim that climate scientists are liars and environmentalists are stooges, has thought it through for yourself? And you know Hackio had to be in on the stupidity today . You just had too. Thankfully, the stupidity was not that much today in this inaugural thread. Hopefully it remains the same throughout, though I highly doubt that.

And in day one of the conference, that urgency was prevalent, and then some. From the Danes lead political figure "The world is depositing hope with you for a short while in the history of mankind," Lars Lokke Rasmussen, the Danish prime minister told delegates who are seeking to agree the first United Nations climate pact in 12 years. Rasmussen said: "By the end, we must be able to deliver back to the world what was granted us here today: hope for a better future. "The time for formal statements is over ... Copenhagen will only be a success if it delivers significant and immediate action." Significant and immediate action will only suffice here. But even if that is produced from these crucial meetings, then odds of stopping the melting seem grim .
