These people really are the epitome of Islamophobes : Bryan Fischer, the public face of the right-wing American Family Association, wants to make something abundantly clear : Permits should not be granted to build even one more mosque in the United States of America, let alone the monstrosity planned for Ground Zero. This is for one simple reason: each Islamic mosque is dedicated to the overthrow of the American government. As evidence for this claim, Fischer cites a flyer distributed by the Muslim Brotherhood in 1991, which is sort of like drawing broad conclusions about all Christians from a flyer distributed by...well, the American Family Association. Christianity in America continues to be embarrassed by these nut jobs on the Right. I didn't know who the hell Bryan Fischer was until today. I now know that he is always worthy of the......... ...Straight Jacket Award for any day.

Weiner's letter to Bloomberg after his fine actions on Tuesday with no purpose of tackling the real issue . One of the more insane people in America right now is one Pam Gellar, who most in the political circles know all too much about. Despite the Kos one getting banned from MSNBC for virtually making Good Ol Joey Scarborough angry, Gellar's constant hatred and ignorance for things she can't relate to is deemed okay enough to go on any cable network at anytime. In the last week, Gellar has added to her many "Hall of Fame of Straight Jacket Moments" by thinking President Obama is anti-Semantic and that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the Department of Defense, Department of State, and the executive office. Of course, Gellar gets on outlets where she expects at least the host to not slam her "fruit of the loon" views, so nowhere on cable TV will she be exposed in full daylight. Joey Lie still can't stand the Brown people and wants a halt to that EVIL Mosque . Developers should "put the brakes" on a planned mosque near the site of the 9/11 attacks in New York City, Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) said Tuesday. Lieberman, an independent senator who caucuses with Democrats, endorsed a pause on the building of an Islamic center and mosque near ground zero, joining some Republican lawmakers and conservative activists who have railed against the project. "I'd say I'm troubled by it, but I don't know enough to say that it ought to be prohibited," Lieberman said on "Imus in the Morning" on the Fox Business Network. "But frankly I've heard enough about it and read enough about it that I wish somebody in New York would just put the brakes on for a while and take a look at this." He sure is always a piece of work.

As the STUPID , insulting , and arguably racist nutcases continue to yell at the plan of a mosque potentially be placed near Ground Zero, an interesting tidbit has emerged from under the surface. A mosque is already near Ground Zero . In fact, it has been down there for at least three decades.
