The story of the upset out of nowhere is made even more enjoyable when you see that the person delivering a defeat to the resident EPA--hating Murkowski is none other than a friend of one Ms. Refudiate. The Chuck Norris look alike Joe Miller is the man that Palin backed with late robo radio calls to help in his primary against the incumbent, and it looks like that last minute facilitation was one of key victories in a shocking win. No one expected this to even be competitive, including the Murkowski camp, until the final days. Now, requiring a miracle from the absentee ballots, Ms. Big oil, big coal Lisa is headed to becoming an independent instead of being her party's representative in the general election. Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes ! Levi Johnston is setting his sights on the dysfunctional family business. Johnston will run for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska -- yes, the same job that propelled Sarah Palin to governor of that state (and later, the vice presidential nomination) -- in a new reality project being pitched by Stone and Co. "Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor's Office" will center on Johnston's newfound fame as the baby daddy to Palin's grandson, Tripp. Johnston will trade on that notoriety to make his run for Wasilla City Hall -- when he's not pursuing a career in Hollywood, of course. Stone and Co. are already shooting the show's pilot and have started pitching the show to networks. Sweet sweet sweet. "Bear All For All" maybe a potential campaign slogan for the former son-in-law of Quitter's family.

As the STUPID , insulting , and arguably racist nutcases continue to yell at the plan of a mosque potentially be placed near Ground Zero, an interesting tidbit has emerged from under the surface. Shame....maybe they should have kept the fake interviews : Well, the ratings are in and as Mediaite's Steve Krakauer notes they were "unspectacular": Sarah Palin's Fox News Special Garners Unspectacular Ratings Sarah Palin's much-hyped LL Cool J-less Fox News special last night didn't bring in the huge ratings some (ok, we) predicted. Greta Van Susteren's On The Record which normally airs at 10pm ET beat the program the previous three nights in the A25-54 demographic and two out of three nights in total viewers. The show also lost viewers from the first quarter hour to the final quarter hour by double digits. It did do 28% better in total viewers than the last FNC original special (November 2009). When something goes wrong for Fixed Propaganda in ratings, than that says something about how disgusted at the thought of people even seeing that lady.

Funny and said and sigh-worthy all simultaneously : Sarah Palin will host "Real American Stories," a Fox News special debuting on Thursday. For the premiere episode, which will air at 10PM, the show will include guests ranging from entertainers LL Cool J and Toby Keith to former GE CEO Jack Welch and a Marine Medal of Honor recipient. The episode will pre-empt "On the Record with Greta Van Susteren" and re-air Sunday night at 9PM. Maybe since he is apart of NCIS, that she could ask him "How the Navy is?" It wouldn't surprise me. The book will be called Going Rogue: An American Life. The release date has been moved up from the spring to Nov. 17 with a huge first printing of 1.5 million copies. A great reality show has the usual filler drama that adds to the real stuff of that prototypical reality show. And now, because of the obvious bad blood between the families because of Bristol-Levi's wedding day never happening, the former Governor once again displayed how she is the most corrupt political figure in the nation right now, even out of office. As some of you may know Sherry [Johnston's} court date was moved from yesterday to August 19. The reason for this is that until just now the prosecutors REFUSED to make any kind of a deal, because of pressure they were receiving from the Governor.
