Here's the quick weekend runthrough:
Obama's kept it real on Meet The Press today, telling the sad hack that is Tom Brokaw right now that "The economy is going to get worse before it gets better."
Condi Rice flip flops and flip flops some more. Okay, she didn't really do so, but her comments are nevertheless still "uggggghhhhhhhhhhh". As the video from Think Progress shows on the Fixed Propaganda Mournday (Fox News Sunday) show this morning, she expresses regrets about Iraq but doesn't regret taking out Saddam. In fact, she calls the removal of the former dictator, "a strategic achievement." Yes, she said that, and still does say that, STILL:
Enough of the rift wrath. Here's Obama today, showing love to Eric Shinseki, who will become the Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary.
Shinseki is the first Asian-American to be in that position. And what makes Shinseki real is this:
