Another Ridiculous Joke of a Headline from CNN

Thanks to the searching and rationally alarmed perspective of ruscle at the Kos, you won't believe this mess of a headline from CNN:

Unbelievable, and I let ruscle explain further how stupid and irresponsible this headline is:

Is this a poor choice of words? Certainly. And it pisses me off that CNN is taking a story that would have been more factually presented with this headline Obama in position to win Virginia -- and replaced it with a negatively biased headline incorporating the idea that Obama might steal something instead of winning if fair and square.

And he isn't done yet:

It's bad enough that CNN slants the headline to frame it as a black man stealing from the GOP.

It is a stupid frame to imply that Virginia is owned by the GOP and is something that can be stolen -- as opposed to what it really happening -- Obama is winning by being a better, more appealing candidate who is winning over voters hearts and minds.

It is offensive that CNN is putting this headline out there.

I couldn't say this better myself.
