1998 was just a massive year in music (which sadly, can't be said about a decade later at this moment). Part of the explosion, especially in the urban world, factored in between TLC's comeback hit of prominence "No Scrubs", and the hilarious response video from rap group Spotty Thieves titled "No Pigeons."
It was the legitimate, battle of the sexes "wa" being waged, and the fight back from Spotty thieves really added to the legend of "No Scrubs" and the mammoth success of the group's long awaited second album "FanMail."
