We’re back at it again with the NFL weekly picks. After finishing a confident 2-1, we now post a .500 winning record. However, it should have been 4-2 if Trent Edwards was not injured in the first quarter of the Bills game against the Cardinals last week. The Cardinals went on to destroy the Bills by a score of 41-17, definitely covering the spread. Now we’re back at .500 and, like most coaches say, it is like starting the season all over again. Now that we have a clean slate we’re going to look to go 3-0 this week. This week it is going down a little different. The top 3 picks are going to be seen in the AIM conversation between Andrew and I (James). Starting this week we will now give picks for all of the games. These picks will have nothing to do with the spread, and will be based on who will win outright.

MINNESOTA over Detroit: Detroit is in shambles right now, they began their rebuilding when they fired Matt Millen. The firing of Matt Millen was a good move, but that will do nothing to help all of the personnel holes the current roster has in it. Expect the Vikings to plow through the Lions, but not as much as the 11 point line says it is going to be.

NEW ORLEANS over Oakland: Oakland still has a lot of problems. As if the Raiders didn’t need more cause to lose, they are playing the Saints in New Orleans. The Saints played very well against the Vikings and should come out fired up to prove something against the Raiders.

WASHINGTON over St. Louis: The Redskins should thoroughly beat the Rams; the Rams are as big of a mess as any team mentioned before. They have super weapon Stephen Jackson, but the Redskins seem to finally seem to understand their offensive system, and quarterback Jason Campbell seems to be developing into a legitimate threat at quarterback.

Other Games to Notice:
Chicago over ATLANTA
TAMPA BAY over Carolina
Miami over HOUSTON
Philly over SAN FRANCISCO
Green Bay over SEATTLE
Dallas over ARIZONA
