Sports Thread #1 for 10/27/08: Mike Singletary's Post Game Press Conference
Absolute classic. In his first game coaching the hapless 49ers, Mike Singletary was highly entertaining (and equally alarmingly old-school at the same time.)
As I talked to James yesterday (and as he pointed out so perfectly), Singletary never pointed out how Vernon Davis hustled back on the interception thrown by J.T O'Sullivan though.
And this, as I started all the top, just reeks of a legendary old school guy whose values and beliefs may not amalgamate well with the new generation of the NFL.
Though if there was anybody in this league who deserves a head coaching job, look no further than Singletary himself.
