Now my friend Tiffany (and all Beyonce' fans) is going to kill me for this one, but I'm going to say it for the first time here on The Whole Delivery: I'm not particularly fond of Beyonce'.
Now I definitely respect her. and no one can say she isn't as diligent as anybody else in the game. And being spoused up with one of my favorite rappers who, unlike what most critics think, still has not fallen off in Jay-Z helps in the matter of coming nowhere near the animosity some hold for this woman.
Nevertheless, there are several reasons why I don't jump for joy over seeing anything new from Ms.Knowles like that. I'm just being honesty.
But since we try and give the whole delivery here at "The Whole Delivery", we must acknowledge the fact that renowned figurehead that is "B" has two new videos out now that premiere over the weekend for her upcoming third solo album, "I am." (Seriously, who has not named their album that title, how original is that?)
Some people love them, some people hate them. Some people say she was "stealing" from Ciara, and some have already remembered that she actually brought the "Singles Ladies" song, the first video you will see, from this girl after hearing it.
Either way, it is guarantee her album will do much better than the disaster that has been Usher's album this year (I don't know if he has gone platinum yet with that release?)
Here's "Single Ladies."
And here's "If I was a Boy."
"Singles Ladies" will be a guaranteed club banger, while the second song will have people say "What a great video," "It's boring," "It's a cliche concept," or "Does it matter what my opinion things, she still is going to make major cake off this album."
And the last quote would probably be the most proverbial point made out of all of them.
