Music Thread #1 for 10/28/08: HAHAHA, Lil' Wayne and Boston's Jam'n 94.5 War Continues

Last year at Boston's Jamn'n 94.5 FM's annual Monster Jam concert, Lil' Wayne was angry when his microphone was cut off during his performance. So dissatisfied was the rapper when this occurred, that he dropped the mic on stage and left abruptly in total disgust. The fans were not happy that his microphone was cut off, and it was not a good look for all parties at all.

Now, with that history given to you, fast forward to last night. Once again, just like last year, Lil Wayne is a massive part of Monster Jam. He was the co-headliner with Jay-Z, and all was going to be "a-ok."

Only that Lil Wayne didn't even perform. Worst, he didn't even show:
Last night (October 27), Wayne again no-showed in Boston for JAMN's 94.5 Monster Jam.

The concert was set to feature Wayne and Jay-Z as co-headliners. However, reports allege the New Orleans native refused to perform once notified his camp would be screened per the venue's security regulations.

Forced to improvise, Jay-Z took the stage early and was supported by additional performances from Ne-Yo, Yung Berg, Brandy, Ray J, and Jadakiss.

And as that same article showed, Dwayne Carter (the artist's legal name for those who don't know) had to cancel at the last possible minute on another show on Sunday, though AllHipHop doesn't do a good job of reporting by not indicating where the concert on Sunday took place.

Either way, this isn't a good look for Wayne and his professionalism (or lack there of). And it certainly is a terrible feeling for Jam'n 94.5 to receive another "L" in their lost column full of them.
