He Was Doing Good Until He Said His Latest Stupidity

Oy Al, oy! Besides calling for the Postal Service to waive off the five year death stamp honor only bestowed to presidents (boy, the day W dies, I wonder what will the reaction be) he said this
Sharpton also will call for a national day of mourning honoring Jackson, his spokeswoman said.
Uggh, that was just really stupid for him to say that.

Sharpton has a point in some eyes that Jackson's coverage from the media has been more way more negative than say, Elvis Pressley or Frank Sinatra. They were far from golden men for sure, and I bet when they died, even without a 24 hour news media cycle now and the advancements of technology, that no one brought up their ugly moments or characteristics in their lives.

Still, a national holiday and a removal of the stamp window period will make the many critics of him say, and have every right to say it, "Sharpton shows he's only for Sharpton again."
