Sports Saturday Thread #2 For 6/5/10: 2010 FIFA World Cup Thread #1- Another Chelsea Link Gone From The World Cup In Robben?

Really starting to feel this World Cup is cursed. Especially if you play or did play for Chelsea:
A stunning second-half fightback saw the Netherlands run out comfortable 6-1 winners over Hungary in their final 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ warm-up at the Amsterdam ArenA.

The victory came at a cost with Arjen Robben forced from the action with a left hamstring injury, leaving Bert van Marwijk to hope the injury jinx that has struck so many of his big-name players this week will not include the Bayern Munich winger. Robben is due to undergo a scan tomorrow, and the Oranje coach was downbeat about the situation after the match.

"I would rather lose this match and have Arjen stay fit," said Van Marwijk. "He felt a sharp pain. That does not bode well. But I do not lose hope."
Now it appears the injury does not appearing as World Cup ending as Drogba's, Ferdinand's, Ballack's, Essien's, Mikel's and maybe Pirlo's.

But it is an obvious devastating blow to a Holland side that were shaping up to be serious dark horse threats for this title with how they have been so superb in these friendlies.

More to come on the report.
