The Read International For 6/19/09- Africa Edition: Italy and France "Failing" Africa

The Read international, with news coming out of Africa that you sure as heck won't be hearing about over here in America.

The U.S., through Pfizer , s donating a $50K to Malawi to test a high performance liquid chromatography machine.

The global recession is going down in South Africa as well.

It is still going crazy in Somali after Security Minister Omar Hashi was killed in an attack.

And talk about something that is definitely going under the surface in this country. Bono's group, the G8, said that Italy and France are failing in their efforts to deliver pledges in Africa.
The report said: "Italy and France ... have made exceptionally poor progress and are damaging the G8's collective credibility.

"Given how far some G8 countries have drifted from their promises, it will be challenging for the group to get back on track to keep their commitments."
