But the neo-cons would just call it being weak

A new phase in the diplomatic effort to get Iran to freeze its nuclear activities will be opened this week.
Talks are set to resume a week after the revelation that Iran has built a new enrichment plant in the mountains near Qom.
Western diplomats say that the talks represent the last chance Iran has to convince the countries negotiating with it that its intentions are peaceful and that if there is no progress, then further sanctions will be considered by the end of the year.

Now really, things didn't change at all in the whole picture between current US relations with Iran, besides Iran opening their facility and all. The same main talking points are being made and all.

That won't stop the neo-con nutcases from yelling all over TV today and tomorrow.

Updated: This, however, is significant, and is vastly overlooked:

Iran agreed in principle at high-level talks here to ship most of its enriched uranium to Russia, where it would be refined for exclusively peaceful uses, in what Western diplomats called a significant, but interim measure, to ease concerns over its nuclear development.

The agreement was announced after more than seven hours of talks here between Iran and six other nations, which also featured the highest-level official U.S.-Iranian encounter in three decades.

Iran also pledged that it would allow inspection, within weeks, of a previously covert uranium enrichment facility near the holy city of Qom, and the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Mohamed ElBaradei, announced he will head to Tehran to work out the details.

In Washington, President Obama said the talks marked "a constructive beginning" and showed the promise of renewed engagement with Iran, but added that "going forward we expect to see swift action. We're not interested in talking for the sake of talking."

This probably will sadly get overshadowed though by the "not much changed" US-Iran talk, but this is a positive and transparent move by Iran here in giving this to Russia.
