Class warfare has indeed stricken this nation in the last few years. And it is indicative in this wonderful piece written from Tasini at the Kos about what isn't being reported by the news media, and what isn't even being mentioned by anyone as the reason for these fiscal frightening times.

The decrease of job wages. As this chart shows above from Tasini, the more productivity has not produce more wages.

Scary stuff indeed. Tasini adds his analysis from the chart, including this stunning detail:

Then, the lines diverge--dramatically. You can see it yourself. If the lines had continued to track closely together as they did prior to the 1970s, the MINIMUM WAGE would be more than $19 an hour. THE MINIMUM WAGE!!!

$19 for minimum wage. I feel like writing that in capital letters too.
