Gettin’ hotter in Arizona: Immigration hawk John McCain says that if Obama doesn’t like the immigration law, he should send in Federal troops, reports the Arizona Republic.

“If the president doesn’t like what the Arizona Legislature and governor may be doing, then I call on the president to immediately call for the dispatch of 3,000 National Guard troops to our border,” McCain said.

“And that way, then the state of Arizona will not have to enact legislation which they have to do because of the federal government’s failure to carry out its responsibilities, which is to secure the borders.”

McCain not only wants to just stick it to Obama (although he'll always fail in that), but also because of how much trepidation he is feeling from J.D. Hayworth in that nutty primary.

So expect this man who has already deteriorated to the point of a sad old comedy show character to continue behaving in such an embarrassing manner for any prominent national figure, especially someone well into his septuagenarian years.
