The Secret Service is obviously, and deservedly so, embarrassed about you know what:

“Although these individuals went through magnetometers and other levels of screening, they should have been prohibited from entering the event entirely,” Mr. Sullivan said. “That failing is ours.”

And they weren't done in castigating themselves

Obama is calling for a probe into this matter, unsurprisingly of course

President Barack Obama asked for a full review of how a Virginia couple under consideration for the cast of a reality-TV show was able to crash Tuesday's state dinner for the prime minister of India, a White House official said Friday.
