Sports Sunday Thread #2 For 1/3/10: NFL Week 17 Full Review

The Colts didn't feel like playing in the snow today in the "Terell Owens" Bills finale game.

Matt Moore and Jonathan Stewart are a big reason why John Fox will stay around next year as the Saints laid down today.

A fourth straight win for the Browns. Could it give Eric Mangini another season? While that could truly go in any direction, the same may not be said of Jack Del Rio's situation however, but it's not a guarantee.

Wes Welker out for the playoffs (and probably some part of next season). Ouch for the Patriots. Meanwhile, no playoffs for the Texans, but Gary Kubiak stays.

A Vikings team in some turmoil got the perfect opponent they could ask for: A Giants team that has truly embarrassed itself in the last few weeks. Just UGLY.

8-8 season for the 49ers, as the Rams are number one on the clock to get either Ndamukong Shu or Eric Berry (unless they trade down of course).

Falcons end a disappointing season with a 9-7, while Raheem Morris waits to see if he gets a second year with the hapless Bucs.

The defending world champions defeated the defending AFC East champions. But that is the last thing both teams will do, as their disappointing seasons come to an end that they surely didn't expect at the start of the year.

In the final two weeks of the season, Jay Cutler looked like the franchise quarterback that Bears will hope he will be the rest of his career in Chicago.

Chris Johnson will certainly be the #1 pick in everyone's fantasy draft next year. May he not get placed on the Madden cover.

The Chargers come back to beat Jim Zorn in his final game as coach of the Redskins.

Josh McDaniels, your job is on the line next season. Simple as that (oh, and Jamaar Charles is a sleeper fantasy pick for next season, in case you didn't know that)

They did it once. They did it twice (and won the division). Can the Cowboys beat the Eagles three times in a season?

The Ravens are in, as Willis McGahee has a return to glory.

And the Jets are in, as they will give the Bengals something to think about in the rematch Saturday.
